Electronic Studio (MFA Student)

Amecia Starks is a graduate student studying 3D production in the Electronic Studio program within the Howard University’s Division of Fine Arts.  She received her BFA in the Electronic Studio in 2012, and while attending Howard University as an undergraduate,  Amecia’s memberships included:

Her love for 3D production started when she viewed the sculptural and illustrative works of Sas and Colin Christian and Andrew Hickinbottom.  Amecia’s background in dance, coupled with her childhood interest in 2D animated films, gave her a unique perspective for motion, movement, and timing which she utilizes in her 3D animated works. Amecia aspires to work in the fields of 3D broadcast production and animated films. Her personal interests are 3D animated commercials, short stories, and 2D/3D cartoons.
