Design major, Jade Nikaylah Williams, from Howard University’s Department of Art is the featured student in the February 2018 issue of Graphic Design USA (GDUSA). The annual “Students to Watch” honorees are selected from top art and design schools across the nation.

Jade is in her senior year at Howard and intends to pursue her career goal of Creative Director upon graduation in May.

“Words can’t describe how happy I am to have been featured in the GDUSA Students to watch issue. My mission is to inspire art students of color all over the world. To see my own image, a Black Woman wearing her natural hair sharing my story and in a notable publication fills my heart with joy. Representation is important, and I will continue to represent for us.” ~ Jade Williams

In 2017, two of our students, Katherine Downs and Cameron Crosby, were featured on the GDUSA Students to Watch list.
