Lecturer – Photography
Ronald Beverly is a Lecturer and Program Coordinator of the Photography Program and has been active in producing work for over 25 years. He holds an M.F.A. in Photography from George Washington University and a B.F.A. in Design from Howard University. He has taught at Georgetown and George Washington University as well as Northern Virginia and Prince Georges Community Colleges. His most recent industry experiences comes from America Online (AOL). During his tenure, Mr. Beverly has experienced multiple facets of the photo industry and online media including publishing legal assets, negotiating freelance coverage with photographers, managing daily request illustrating content with images and assisting in multimedia productions. He’s made a complete transition to the digital darkroom and has embraced the current digital technologies to enhance his vision. As program coordinator, Mr. Beverly is in a unique position to effect growth and expansion in photography providing students the opportunity explore their potential.
